Hello,

As i'm using vMix in an integrated system, piloted by its API, I encountered a problem with the vMix API.

I am using Program AND Preview to make 2 distincts video feeds, each with its overlays and different video sources.

In the vMix API, I can activate or desactivate an overlay for Program output with the command OverlayInput1On and OverlayInput1Off. It is therefore stateless, if I say "off" and it's already off, it doesn't reactivate.

But concerning overlays on the preview output, the commands are only PreviewOverlayInput1. So it toggles the overlay, but I can't know in which state it is. With the latrency created by my system (UI on an iPad in wifi), I can't rely on the state given by the API feedback...

Could the vMix team add the stateless commands PreviewOverlayInput1On and PreviewOverlayInput1Off (for the 4 overlays of course!) in the next vMix release?

I/We feel your disappointment. It has been requested several times to include the current state of the Preview Overlays 1-4 in the API.
