We have a live event coming up and we will be using DaCast for our streaming host. Does anyone have any experience using vMix with DaCast. We're having trouble knowing what to put into what settings in the vMix streaming dashboard. DaCast gives a stream url (rtmp), stream name, full url (also a rtmp), and a username/password. Thanks for the help ahead of time!

Thanks for the help. I think where we were getting hung up was on the video bit rates. The first bit rate option in vMix is the only option that can be checked and edited to stream to DaCast. DaCast somehow takes the other two streams and any single stream set below the first slot and places a 1,2 or 3 next to the key/stream title. This causes DaCast to not see the stream.

Are you trying to stream at multiple bitrates? If you are streaming multiple bitrates you need to have a specific stream name. For example if you are streaming 3 bitrates, you would set your stream name to "streamname%i?streamkey". You need to add "%i" after the streamname and before the stream key. This tells the server that you are streaming to multiple bit rates. The player stream names would then be streamname1, streamname2, streamname3. DaCast is a reseller of EdgeCast networks which our company also resells. DaCast should definitely be compatible with vMix. Our church uses it every sunday:)
