I own quite a few VisionAV cards that include the VisionAV-HD the VisionAV-SDI and the VisionAV /B, but none of them work in RGB colorspace. I know that much older programs work with it (although it flips the image upside-down (minor issue).)

Does the vMix staff have any plans on fixing this lack of RGB colorspace options in Datapath cards? I await a response on this matter.

Thank You

Before you have an answer from vMix, you might be interested to check if your cards are supported by Newtek's tools for NDI. This might offer you the opportunity to feed vMix with NDI feeds.

Check NDI Connect solution for example, the free version inputs and converts 2 signals.

Thank you for the recommendation of NDI, but that option is no suitable for what I'm trying to accomplish with this post. I'm trying to avoid degrading the signal through sub-sampling. The lack of working RGB colorspace option has me looking at other options like Magewell, but Magewell cards have their own problem with the lack of Properties Settings (which is true for any card from what I've seen.) I'd really like for them to take a look at this, and post a determination of whether or not it is important.

I still can't believe that everyone else is okay with RGB colorspace options on capture cards not working with vMix...

RGB is definitely supported by vMix and there are no known issues we are aware of.
If you having problems with a particular card please drop us an email and send a support report from vMix under Settings -> About
