First, is there a way to smoothly transition between input selections for the Display output?
Second, would it be possible to have a shortcut function call to switch and/or transition the selected input for a Display output?

Not sure what you mean by "Display output", but I guess you refer to Fullscreen output. This, and related, functionalities has been discussed/requested for quite a while. The key word is "M/E" (for Mix Effect). Most recently in Add M/E. In the August episode of vMix Fun Time Live Show Martin hinted on what's coming up in v22. He did not specifically say what it was, more than revamped or improved functionality (or something like that, I can't remember). My bet is that we will get more M/E (which is an existing function, but only one). Time will tell...
