Arrived today and got it working with :-

Xsplit
Wirecast
vMix 32 bit ver.

Got it going sort of in vMix 64 bit ver. But when I try to go to a higher resolution 1280x720 or mostly any other resolution then I get this

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

The original image I got was a little confused.

Not sure how to setup in vMix

Hi all

Tested with vMix 32 and 64 bit versions

XA10 Component cable to ExtremeCap U3 at 1920x1080 YUY2 25fps, no problems works perfectly.

Almost sold on vMix.

Wirecast keeps on complaing about the USB hub being overused. vMix is fine.

Hey Ash,are you actually using it with a USB 3.0 compatible computer. I am desperately in need of an actual working setup and I have not had much success with a few of the usb 2.0 devices I have tried. I can't get them to even install properly. That is why I posted a topic regarding purchasing a new computer, but nobody has replied to that.

Knowing your system specs would really help me out.

Thanks,

System is Toshiba Satellite P50t-A
Intel Core i7-4700MQ @ 2.40Ghz
8 Gb Memory

Display Adapters
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M

USB 3 Intel 8 Series / C220
You should be carefull with the type of USB. I dont thnk the Renesas, Fresco types go very well with AverMedia systems but Intel seems fine.

Windows 8.1

The Toshiba is very power hungry but I am also looking at setting up a remote power supply. The screen is also reflective (touch screen) so if I got another I would make sure its non reflective.

In testing the cpu utilization hardly goes above 18% and memory about 3Gb usage. So its really just walking.

Tts running full 1080p thru both HDMI and component connection. I switched to component because the mini HDMI is a problem in the field, its not very robust with camera movement. Hope to fix that soon. SDI would be a better choice but then need to convert back to HDMI to go into the ExtremeCap (it has both hdmi and A/v connections).

I use 2 cameras a Canon XA10 and XA20 both I hope to have running wireless soon.

Cheers

Dear Sir

How are you planning to go wireless with these canon cameras.

Can you suggest what all devices are required for going wireless.

And do you plan to use HDMI or Component interface for going wireless.

One more thing, Does Avermedia Live Game Portable works with vmix ?
