Hi

On the vMix Reference Systems Site only the "Ruby" has Instant Replay.

My favorite solution is the notebook one with thunderbolt 3. Easy and lightweight. But can I use the instant replay if I use 2 SDI camera inputs?
Or has the recommended notebooks not enough power?

Hi Patrick,

I tested a new MSI Laptop with 6 core processor and 1070 Graphics card with 4 SDI inputs and it seems capable of doing replay. Note I did not try it under real world conditions, just as a basic test to see if the laptop seemed capable of handling replay. My first impression is yes, it can but I would need to do more testing before committing to an actual event.

Hi tgdzapa1,
I use the laptop for Production frequently, but haven't tried it on an event for replay. One of the challenges with using it for replay would be the 2nd Hard drive, which is not an SSD drive. I would need to use an external SSD via thunderbolt or USB 3.1, but I have not tested this configuration.
