If one needs to make a List containing multiple video files and put say a 10 second gap between each of the videos, how is that done in vMix? Is it possible?

Sure -- Just add a "Color" input and make black. Then schedule the color input in bewteen videos and make duration 10 secs.

As kjones9999 states, either you can use Video List, and have a 10 seconds black video file inserted as your gap. If you use the playlist feature, you can do as kjones9999 states, just insert a black colored input, and use that.

just to add you can add a 1 minute video and then mark in/out a variable duration within vmix
