Best settings for Facebook live events

Hello everyone, I need some info about Facebook live event.
I add input camera by Avermedia pro 2 plus capture, My camera it’s a Sony 4K ax53.
When I record in 4K (In camera) i want stream the video, but I need info about resolution when I add the camera.
If the output resolution of camera it’s 4k 25p which resolution I have to choose?
I can select 720p as live event of Facebook? I don’t understand which resolution set when I add the camera for a best quality live event.

Hi first check facebook recommended settings for live streaming : https://www.facebook.com...6955?helpref=faq_contentAs you can see this a FAQ > Frequently Asked Question Regarding your production workflow, you have several options. It's been discussed frequently on this forum too. It mostly depends on your gear possibilities: - can your cam record 4K internally AND output another resolution? - what are the input resolution supported by your capture card? - what do you want to do in vMix apart from streaming? - what resolutions do your other project inputs support? (screencaptures, graphics, media, etc...) - etc... If you go step by step, you will find the best solution for you. There is no magic recipe valid for everyone or every project. It's a matter of knowing and understanding what you deal with and want to do with your specific equipments Guillaume

Hello Dwam,
Thnak you for your reply, yes i found an good point.
My camera can record in 4k but on same time not able to output on this resolution.
I need to stream on 720p facebook or 1080p on youtube, but i see that it's possible choose the defoult preset stream options by vmix that i think are been optimized for facebook and youtube standards, well?
my problem is that i want stream on this resolution and record in 4k for post editing.
have you some idea? i think it's only a possibility: record and stream mp4 by vmix, well?
