Hi. We´re experiencing a lot of dropped frames while recording with multicorder. Sometimes though, it is working perfectly. We´ve tried several different settings but we are out of luck in finding the problem causing this randomly appearing issue. I will list bulletpoints to make this enquiry shorter:

- Two pc´s; one gaming pc and one recording pc.
- We are using Vmix for recording gaming footage through a Blackmagic Intensity 4K Pro PCI card over HDMI (rec. settings: 1080p60)
- One Blackmagic Studio Micro camera connected to a Blackmagic Ultrastudio SDI, with USB into the recording pc (rec. settings: 1080p30)

- Dropped frames are always only an issue with the camera recording in multicorder, and we´re talking 35000 dropped frames during a 20 minute recording, leaving the recording useless (with only 1300 frames actually recorded).
- No problems with dropped frames if using only the record-feature (program recording).
- Tried recording to SSD and harddrive, no difference, and the harddrive is only writing at 5% of writing capabilities.
- CPU is operating at maximum 30%
- GPU is operating around 40%, and the render time indicated in Vmix never goes higher than 2ms.
- Changed video format of camera input to UYVY (instead of default), no change in dropped frames.
- Quit nVidia applications (somebody on the forums said this could interfere).
- Tested with both sources (gameplay and camera) in the same framerate 30fps, no change.
- Tested with and without scaling and keying the camera input, no change.
- Tested with and without performance mode and low latency mode, no change (also no change in render time for GPU even tho only 2GB card)
- Everything on the system is up to date.

We have probaly tried other things that I can´t remember, but the main problem is that the dropped frames issue is completely random. During test recordings it went from working just fine to having thousands of dropped frames without any settings or connection changes.

Recording PC specs:

Intel i7-8700 @ 3.20GHz
16GB 2460MHz RAM
256GB SSD for applications (WDS256G1X0C-00ENX0)
6TB harddrive for storage (WD60EFRX-68L0BN1)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K capture card (PCI)
Blackmagic Ultrastudio SDI (USB 3.0)

the usb camera dropping the frames? get a pcie usb 3 card, startech sells good ones. im just thinkin your usb chipset is maxed or does not like the device. upgrade the gpu, there is no nvenc on a 1050. this card has 4 dedicated chipsets, but you also need the pcie lanes to do it. https://www.startech.com...nnels-4-Port~PEXUSB3S44V here is all the cards. https://www.startech.com...-Adapters/USB-3.0/Cards/
