hi admin,

last week i recommended vMix to a friend, his computer seems to have the necessary hardware resources to do what he need.

But in a few moments i thought to myself "how good is this machine to run vMix"?

i had an idea that can help so many people to understand how good are their pcs to run vMix.

For people that are not experienced with hardware, what about to create a performance tool to evaluate a pc in order to see if that combination of hardware have not only the recommended requirements but the recommended performance to run vMix?

the idea is something like... "what do you need to do with vMix? select the features you want to work... example: tick boxes for streaming, recording, one camera, up to 3 cameras, 720p, 1080p, 30fps, 60fps, etc... and run tool based on that information to get a negative or positive result. the tool can sugest too the available versions of vMix with the features choosed by user.

the tool could test the download/upload bandwidth to see what bitrate is recommended (so much important for mobile based live productions)

There are too many hardware and sometimes is dificult to determine if a hardware combination is recommended to do what the user want. a tool like that can help a lot.

thank you for the attention,

cheers,

melody
