Two problems with instagram and last vmix version 1. No users avatars showing 2. Few results. I try #summer2018 hashtag (more that 1,6 million photos), but vmix show only few pages (84 photos after 5 minutes). Results increases every minute, but very slowly. Hi,
Instagram are slowly closing the public content API which will be complete by December.
They are not offering a replacement which means no applications will be able to access Instagram content in the future.
The first thing they have closed is access to is the user avatars and it also looks like the search is now severely limited.
Unfortunately this means Instagram support for vMix Social will eventually need to be removed.

Still trying to get a few last squeezes out of Instagram, but running into a problem when attempting to log in to Instagram in vMIX Social. It seems tied to vMIX's use of IE instead of another browser. Does anyone have the same issue?

The Instagram web site no longer works in the latest IE.
I would hope they fix the issue in due course, as it would affect anyone trying to visit their web site using IE at the moment.

Is this something that could be worked around by the team at vMix or the individual users? It is my impression, that vMix is locked into IE, but maybe you could change that to some other browser, that works with Instagram. We have tried to find a way to make vMix use another browser instead of IE, but so far, we have not found any way of doing that.

Unfortunately it would be a lot of work to change the login browser of vMix Social.
Instagram is discontinuing all access to its content from applications like vMix Social by the end of the year,
so it would only be a short term stopgap at best anyway.
