Wondering if it is possible to assign a shortcut key to start vMixSocial. Perhaps the 'SendKeys' function, or something else...

Thoughts?

Well, based on reading of the manual, there is no method of activating vMix Social via a shortcut.
I had thought that the use of the 'Sendkeys' function might do the trick. However, after thoroughly reading the manual, it appears that the 'Sendkeys' function only works with the currently active window. Thus, no joy if vMix is the active window.

All that being said, it would appear and I am willingly ready to admit that I should create a request for this as a new function/feature.

Check out "autohotkey"

allows you to create your own key responses/actions and even check if a window is active or not etc

Or create a batch file in Windows that opens vMix and vMix Social and assign those two programs to a "Windows" shortcut key.

I mess around with AHK way too much.

Here is an app - download and double click.

Ctrl Alt S opens vmix social. Close by clicking icon in taskbar.

Hope this is what you need.

I would prefer to have a shortcut for the Social screen added to General function section, alongside the Vmix Call function, which I have assigned to an Xkeys shortcut.
