I am having trouble with audio cutting off when switching inputs. Let's say I have an anchor discussing a sports game on the Output, and some clips in the Preview monitor ready to go. When I switch to play the sports clips from the anchor talking, he loses the ability to voiceover or talk while the softball clips play. This occurs even if I play sports clips as a slide show (no audio) or movie clips (audio) turned off. Any ideas? The "follow" button (green arrows) dont seem to do the trick!
Best, Jason

Do you have the audio input for the anchor set to "follow"? If you want them to be able to talk over you will probably need to uncheck their follow and select them "the button below" to be live full time. Selecting the clips to follow is a good idea but any voice over will need to stay active or on.

etbuh, If you do not want a audio source such as commentary to stop during a switch then number one is correct. However lets say you switch to a video advertisement then you would need to manually pot down or mute the announcers audio. Or engage the audio follow on both sources prior to switching. I personally run all my commentary audio through a external mixer and pot up and down as needed therefore not using the follow feature. It usually comes down to personal preferences and comfort level. Hope this helps
