Hi All - Just about to order a new pc to run V mix on - Current plan is just for a 4 Cam SD SDI studio recording mainly virtual set corporate news stuffs .

What do you think of the below spec ? any problems any one can see?

Motherboard - Asus P9X79 Motherboard - X79 C hipset
CPU - Intel Core i7 4930K, 3.4GHz HexCore + Hyperthreading, 12MB Cache professionally overclocked to 4.2Ghz with Corsair H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Ram - 16GB Total (4x4GB) Corsair 1.35v, 1600MHz
Graphics - 2GB EVGA Nvidia GTXEVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC,1072MHz GPU, 1152 C ores, 6008MHz GDDR5
OS Drive - 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD, Read 540MB/s, Write 520MB/s
Storage - Weston Digtial 2TB
OS -Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
Capture - Decklink Quad & Datapath RGB Pro 2
Sound - External 32x32 Firewire sound card (built in to sound desk - Win can see it as four stereo cards with out need for ASIO)

Hey Henry,

I don't see any problem with the specs. The only thing I don't like (personal preference) is the Windows 8.

A couple friends had some hardware compatibility issues (not sure exactly) using Windows 8 and they decided to install the Win 7. So, that's the only thing I can point out.

This is an amazing spec and probably you won't have any performance issues.

None whatsoever except for the Win 8...

Can't talk much on it cos I am still holding on to my Win 7... but from what I have read so far here regarding Win 8 and vMix.. you need to watch it.

i have also added a decklink mini monitor to get SDI back out of the system
