Hello. We use vmix for playout in a small local station. All files and videoinput, camera input, videofile is mpeg2, all is in 50i (720X576 wide) and output is in the same settings 50i. We want to put deinterlace when we stream outside ( facebook, youtube, etc) and when i put deinterlace on files on webstream its perfect but the motion on output is not good. Can I put somewhere deinterlace only for streaming on internet platform and all remain in 50i. Thanks and sorry for my english. Best regards

Hi!

First I'm going to say that vMix is not designed to be a playout solution, even if it can do it, you are facing here an issue that's related to this point.

AFAIK, I don't think there is a way to stream progressive and playout interlaced at the same time with vMix. What I suggest is to use another encoder for streaming. So you could have vMix project being interlaced for everything and using the EXT output (or NDI) you could feed an external software encoder like FFMPEG/OBS/FMLE or whatever doing only the streaming with a deinterlacing process.

Hope this helps

Yes you can simultaneously have a 50i SDI output and a 25p webstream, and VMIX is a perfect playout platform for a small broadcaster. I have a system that has been ruining a live TV station 24/7 running since VMIX 16 (3 years) the only major issue with it have been caused by Windows Updates.

If you have HD sources your web stream could be HD, even if your broadcasts are SD.

So make sure your project is set to the highest resolution you want to output, or just 720x576 if your happy for all output to be in SD, then in your external display settings...
