Hello Everybody,

I often use large images in my live video presentations. These images are much larger than the visible screen frame. Please see attached mockup.

I would like to be able to live pan up and down — and zoom in and out on these oversize images using a joystick. Somewhat similar to PTZ camera pan and zoom capability. But for still images.

These might be screen captures of long vertical web pages that I have annotated with text and graphics, for example. Or long hortizonal flowcharts. Or road maps. Or landscape presentations such as architectural cityscape drawings for presentation to city council.

Right now I have to do these types of presentations using Camtasia and bring them into vMix as a png sequence. But it is enormously time consuming, cumbersome, cannot be adjusted based on chat or live feedback from City Council attendees, for example. Also, it is not easy to coordinate live audio with pre-recorded videos of this type.

This would be helpful for any person or company that does presentations for corporations, house of worship, government or travel presentations — just to name a few.

Thanks,

You could use Merge to do this between multiple virtuals but live interaction is good for the unexpected. This would be good for reframing 4K cameras to HD.

I'd like another version of the new audio fade shortcut that would move to new a position and zoom over time.

Great use case!

I do something like this, live, using the positioning shortcuts - for any input that’s in Preview. I use my XKeys switcher and can change any virtual input easily:
