Hi,
For an event I need to film a horse ride, and have the output delayed by 8 minutes so when they get out of the ring they can see what they did. Is that possible with vmix? (I was using a competitor software that required a usb dungle and I broke the dongle and they want me to repay for the full software.. So looking for an alternative)
Thanks

Record and then play back the recording....in that way, you can advance, reverse, pause, over and over again....and play at any time, and as many times as possible

Multiple ways to do it:
1: instant replay: allows you to slow down or speed up parts of the footage, and name every recording in a list.
2: record and playback. You could just stop recording, drag the clip in vMix and play it back. If you want to keep recording new rides, while playing back the previous one, just set the video as a source for the external output.

So I can use an output as a recorded video (and the feeds keeps recording). Play that recorded video and start it 8 minutes late and it will go on playing non stop 8 minutes delay. Rides are back to back non stop. That's the way I use to do it in the other software. Happy to know vMix does the same :)
