Good afternoon

I did browse the forum for this topic....

I am planning to conduct a vMixcall and stream it to FaceBook Live using vMix.Does anyone see any problems with those arrangement? Any hints or caveats ?

When testing, the audio was a hassle for me;

I got the echo of my audio, I was using my Logitech Headset to prevent my mic picking up the audio from vMix Is there a way to circumvent this ?

And if I happen to be monitoring the FB Live page I also get the audio from it.

Suggestions ?

You can turn off your own mic monitoring with the heaset icon in this audio input properties.

Using headphones is the easiest and mostreliable solution anyway.

It's not recommended to monitor your stream on the very same computer as vMix for this obvious reason. However you can still turn the browser or player volume off. But if you do that you don't really monitor audio.

Thanks, I was adjusting the "Maim" headphone/mic icon

Found the correct one where you said in the properties of the headset mic input. You have made my life much simpler.

Hi Guilliame

You seem to have a good handle on this workflow.

Would these be a good summery of how I should set this up;

Making the vmixcall setup opt to use the "Headphone" rather than default
In my Yeti Blu setup click on the headphones so I dont hear my mic
For "TALKBACK" puroposes; SOLO my mic and turn MASTER off for my mic

It's all been explained several times and there are many ways to build an audio workflow in vMix.

If you don't know the basics of audio routing, check the documentation first, go and watch official vMix tutorial videos, use this forum search function

Last but not least, try to experiment going step by step. If you don't master the basics, don't go for advanced setups...
Test, learn, digest, test again, learn more... and so on... Mastering vMix is not as easy as it seems, it takes time...
