hi martin, youtube is enabling HD livestreaming and switching over to use the opensource VP8 codec. would it be possible to have vmix incorporate the vp8 codec so i can stream directly to hangout. I presume vmix will output to the plgin which then encodes for vp8. this step could be omitted using the freely available open source codec. this will save cpu and gpu resources.

using vp8 could also have other benefits possibly. any ideas?

greetings
stefan
