we had a stream on Friday and have one tomorrow - and the tech guy was sending a feed to the office tv by taking it from the YouTube stream with a minute delay, is there an ndi, vmix call or lowest bandwidth method that we can say has little affect on our stream or doesn't involve another computer, thank you

Yes, download and install Newtek NDI Tools
and run NDI Studio Monitor to monitor feed on any computer.

We accomplish this by sending an HLS stream with Mistserver and creating a private (or public) roku app.

https://www.nanocosmos.de/v6/ offers a really low latency streaming option. Maybe the simplest way in a remote location where NDI signals from onsite isn't available. If it has to be NDI there is a solution to send over public internet with https://www.medialooks.com/ndi

Just send external to VLC or FFMPEG and use Multicast (requires a player device)
or
Use HDMI 2 Cat5 extenders.

Check the forum, this has been discussed hundreds of times already

thank you dwam, we do have them on hdmi cat extenders but I'm not sure I'm using them fully. should we be able to see them on the network or/if so how do you dictate to show the vmix output on them. Or does that require the extra step of software like you suggested

Here's a typical setup when using hdmi2cat5 extenders. If needed just use a splitter on your vMix hdmi out to feed your fullscreen monitor and the TX device
