I have seen a few publications about the Behringer UMC404HD USB Interface / mixer as it relates to vMix. It basically connects very well with the 4 inputs connecting through the USB interface thus creating 4 audio inputs with vMix. I have a need for more than the 4 inputs on that mixer. Will Behringer Xenyx X1204USB interface the same with vMix. I need the 4 microphone audio inputs and also the 2 line level inputs the X1204USB has and want to know with vMix show all four inputs and the 2 line inputs or is it limited to only 4 inputs total from the mixer into vMix? If so, can you select any of the inputs on the mixer on the vMix inputs, example, mic 1 & 2 and live level 5/6 etc?

You will only get Main mix L and R output from the mixer into vMix.

Consider the Behringer XR18 for multi channel I/O over USB. (XR12 and XR16 do not offer USB I/O)

EDIT: or of course BEHRINGER U-PHORIA UMC1820 if you don't need more than just I/O.

Perhaps it's related to the actual model, mine is an older XENYX X1204 USB (close to 10 years old now) which is Stereo Mixer output only into vMix.
It would appear the XENYX UFX 1204 has individual Inputs into vMix according to user digitalalps.

you can use the U-PHORIA UMC1820 for your purpose and set in vmix by ASIO
