SOLVED: I got it working. I just needed to get all of the vMix settings right. When I have some time I'll add a post with all of my settings. I'll try to have them up in a day or so. But it works nice!

I have a program that has a "Video Source" option that contains a dropdown. The dropdown includes:

Logitech Webcam
vMix Video
vMix Video External 2
vMix Video YV12
No Video

I want to select vMix Video External 2 and have that video come from one of my vMix Inputs, which happens to be a Video Input containing my Logitech Webcam. (I don't want to use my Logitec Webcam directly, even though it's in the dropdown because I want to resize it, add a lower thirds, etc.)

So what steps do I take to make my that Video input appear as vMix Video External 2?

Right now, when I select "Video Source" in the external program there are just color bars. (See attached screen capture.)

My version of vMix includes an External 2.
