I am evaluating vMix because I want to do more than a static image on the green screen when I use my company's Zoom Pro system.

I got everything set up with a video in the background instead of an image, which is what I want.

The problem is there is a significant delay between me doing something to seeing me do that thing on the screen to hearing me say something. Multiple seconds.

Is there anything I can do about that? I have tried playing with the audio delay setting in the mixer, and it will look fine in vMix but not when I have it in Zoom.

The video is fairly large, but there is a delay just when I'm using a static image as well.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
