Hey all,

Our workflow is very dependent on NDI, so I'm aware we need a pretty beefy system in order to use vMix to its fullest.

We need at least 4 NDI sources at HD quality available, with the option of having at least 6 usable for future-proofing if possible.

I understand the Ruby reference system can do up to 4 sources. If we install a 1080 TI instead with the 8700k, and double the RAM to 32 GB, would we be able to hit 6 NDI sources, while also being able to use animated overlays, static graphics, video playback, etc? Or should we go the i9 route? I am indeed trying not to spend $4600 on the build, but if that's what's necessary, then we'll do it.

Here's a link to what I've put together so far for the i9 build; https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qfPZLJ - the i7 build (just swapping the mobo and CPU) comes out to about $3600, a full grand cheaper.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!
