I have always wanted the ability to 'sequence' my videos.
Trigger them.
Loop them.
Play them live with my music.

I thought Max for Live would be a possible way and then I found Ableton Link.
It has been out for several years.
https://www.ableton.com/en/link/

Just like NDI was added to vMix I wondered if Ableton Link could be added.
From the Abelton website
Build Link into your app
We want Link to help musicians connect and collaborate in innovative ways, so we’ll be sharing the Link SDK for free. If you’re an app developer who’s interested in the technical details or would like to request the SDK, head to the Link Github page.
http://ableton.github.io/linkkit/

From reading the pages it might not be possible as this might only be a iOS SDK.
It does say
Connect with more
Link works with a growing number of iOS apps and desktop software, with or without Live.

How would I use this in my productions.
I would use this to create 'sequences' and 'remixes' of content from all the sources I use.
I have always wanted a 'Live Looper Pedal for Video'.
Here is an amazing example of what I am trying to do,

They use the live delay caused by Live Streaming to FB except this could be done in general like audio live looping is in this video by KT Tunstall,

Thanks everyone for checking this out.
