Hey there, so bit of background for you.
So I'm just getting into the streaming side of video for a local band I know well, have been doing video work for them for a while now and want to improve a more efficient delivery of content through live streaming to their youtube page minus all the post production milarky.
I'm on the lookout for a gaming laptop that is both portable and the thunderbolt 3 port capable, I'm on a budget of around £1000 and have two hdmi equipped camcorders I'm planning on using with vmix, maybe more in future.
So my questions are
: for longevity sake do I need a 1060 or will a 1050ti do for now?
: does anybody have a suggestions on a model of laptop worth using ?
: will a 1050ti handle a 2 camera 1080 stream and record or will I have to pay the extra money for a gtx 1060?
any help would be appreciated...

I'll try and go through your list.
The 1060 does have a decent performance bump over the 1050i so I'd go with the 1060.
Also careful when making comparisons whether you're looking at the desktop or mobile version of the same GPU.
Apart from that though, you need to decide how you're going to pull your cameras into the laptop, this will decide everything else.
It's never a good idea to try and use the same disc for system, playback and recording.
Sorry I've probably caused more questions than I've answered.
