Here, my idiocy is on full display:

For a recent production, I set up my stream profile as Custom RTMP instead of YouTube Live, and had entered the stream key (only... remaining fields empty) and saved. I realize this was a goofball move, and I can have no expectation of vMix somehow divining my intentions. My thought is that, at some point, it might have been nice to have a nudge... there was no error messaging when I saved, nor when I foolishly attempted to start the stream.

I clicked "Stream" about 5 times before I woke up and went back into Stream profiles to discover my goofballery.

It might be nice to have a quick sanity-check on "Save and Close", or as you click "Stream" to begin a production to alert the user that they have, or to confirm with the user that they intended to, omit the necessary fields to perform that action.

+1 It would be nice to have a highlighted area if you miss a "Required Field". Did my first RTMP Stream last weekend and although rather easy to setup I was concerned I may have missed something.
