Hi everyone. I am new to Vmix but I will be taking over mixing of a live show in a few weeks and I want to get some practice in. I have only just started learning the software this week.
I have the rushes from an old show we did so I have synced them and imported them as video inputs. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get them all to play at the same time so that I can do a test run through of a full show. I basically want them to act as 4 camera inputs.
The resulting video won't be used for anything, it's just for me to get some practice in before I get completely thrown in the deep end and go live in a few weeks.
If it helps, we are running vmix pro 17.
Thanks!

I'd make one shortcut button start all the clips. So one button starts the first clip, clone that shortcut, make it start the second clip, then clone again for 3rd clip and 4th clip. Then the same button starts all 4
I'm not sure if its 100% frame accurate, but it should be within a few frames, if only for practice this is likely good enough for that

Try using Triggers....maybe that would work for what you want....

spencerm24 The shortcuts idea works! I think it might be out a couple of frames but it will be absolutely fine for practice. Let's hope the live show goes well! Thanks.

You could make a multi with them in and then set the multi to play on transition :)

I have done this with three clips playing perfectly in sync for three projectors. I could even stop/start them and they kept in sync. This was from an SSD but they probably were the simpler Prores or DNX i frame only codec. This may of made a difference. An audio track was output for each screen.
