This might not qualify as a bug, but in my experience the behavior is unexpected (and confused at least me).

If a Preset is opened from say folder A, and Inputs from another Preset in Folder B is appended, a Save Preset will default to B's folder and name.
I regard the original Preset is the main one, and Saves should be directed to its folder and name.

Anyone that (dis)agree?

I can see where that could cause an issue. I agree if I opened a specific preset any saves should go to that original location.
