Hi,

I've decided to record my vmix output to an external drive.
I don't want to put too much burden on my CPU and record internally.
Therefore output through HDMI seems to be the best and only option.

Everything works ok except for the fact that every some time the output becomes choppy.
It freezes for a second or two and then moves on.
In other words there's a "skip" of the image to a new position.

If you check this video you will see what I mean

min 22.10 - 22.15
min 1:20:13 - 1:;20:20
min 1:26:10 - 1:26:15
min 1:49:40 - 1:49:50
min 1:52:10 to the end

I didn't observe anything like that when the recording was done locally.
So it must be related to either vmix settings or problems with my laptop.

my laptop specs:

geforce gtx 765m 2 GB
intel 4600
i7-4700mq (2.4 GHz)
SSD 120GB drive
16GB RAM
win7 64bit

vmix HD 16.0.0.115 x64

If anyone has ever experienced anything like that and found a solution let me know.

Regards,

Witold
