We currently have AJA Kona 3G card (3 inputs and 1 output) and need to add 2 more SDI inputs.
We have an option to buy another used Kona 3G card but ....
No need at this time for 4k.
Questions
1. Are there benefits to look at a PCI card that supports x8 vs another 4x card.
2. Do newer cards have any significant improvements regarding latency etc.
3. Any issues with using (2) cards in the same PC. I think the motherboard has 3 slots with no sharing
