I've just started reading about vMix.
Is it possible to produce an output that has video as the back ground and then powerpoint in PIP?
Would this be done via the powerpoint function (statc clides only? - does that mean a preprepared timed show with no transitions?) or by using another computer for powerpoint and using "Remote computer screen capture via Ethernet".
This is for a church, broadcasting the service into the creche area etc... so viewers can see both what's onstage and the screen.
Cheers, Hamish

Yes, the feature is called Overlay and essentially you would set up two inputs in vMix.
1. The video input. 2. The powerpoint, this can either be the powerpoint directly (in which case it will only be static slides) or through the Desktop Capture utility from another PC running powerpoint.
The O1 button on Input number 2 can be used to overlay it on top of the video input. There is an Overlay settings page where the position and size of this input can be configured so it appears as PIP.
Try the 60 day trial or free Basic version and I am sure you will work it out.
