Hi,
I ran into an issue where if I drop a video into vMix for some reason it reads the resolution of the video incorrectly. I took a screen cap here to show. http://i.imgur.com/XEf5CdQ.png

I showed a VLC codec window on top to show you that the video is in fact 1920x1080, but in vMix it read it as 1920x1088, which creates distortion at the bottom of the videos and looks really bad.

Is there any fix for this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't fix the issue.

Any help would greatly help.

Thanks!

After further digging into this I've tried ffdshow as a different x264 decoder and the resolution still is set at 1920x1088 in vMix. I think it has to deal with how vMix is importing the video and checking the resolution?

I'm going to try a few more things like reverting the Microsoft DVD decoder and stuff and see if maybe that fixes the issue. I'll update the post when afterwards. this is a very weird bug because it isn't a problem on my other PC O.o

Hi,

In vMix Settings try changing the renderer to EVR.
