Hi,

Im using the latest trial version of Vmix, I'm having trouble using DVDs as source.
Some work, some don't, and output a mess like this http://i.imgur.com/0RG5XEM.png

Some NTSC and PAL DVDs work, some don't.
I have also installed DVD43, didn't change anything.
I have tried all the different decoders, didn't work.
I installed CCCP and tried again, didn't work.
Ideas?

Thanks

just a suggestion of course: rip your DVD's in any video format (AVI for example) to your hard drive, it's much more reliable

Hi,

For best performance and reliability vMix requires the Windows 7
decoders to be selected when playing back DVDs.

This is usually the default, but if you install 3rd party codecs or DVD software
this can interfere and cause some display and playback issues.

You can try the following to force the use of the Windows 7 DVD codecs:

1. Install the following for DVD audio support:
http://forums.vmix.com.a...t.aspx?g=posts&t=427
2. In vMix Settings under the Decoders tab select the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder for MPEG 2 Video
3. Optionally try setting the Video Renderer under the Performance tab to EVR

Regards,

Martin
