Hello,
how can I record video from vMix to HDD with alpha channel?

I need for for example make video where will be only title and background will be transparency. This video I need loading back to vmix with alpha channel. Normally in vmix working this transitions correct. Alpha affects only title. But if I try record video with codec Newtek SpeedHQ DTC alpha or Newtek SpeedHQ alpha, is there title with black background. Not transparency background. Alpha affects booth - background and title.

I try many hours and many combination, but all is bad.

Any idea please?

Hi,

here is a little workaround. If you want to record your titles with Alpha. Just enable NDI on an Output and under NDI Settings enable Alpha Channel (premultiplied) and set the resolution.
Then use the NDI Studio Monitor from NDI Tools (it's free google it) and choose your NDI Output from vMix, set the record path (settings/application/set record path).
Move your title to the vMix Output Window so that you can see the Title. Start a Overlay Channel (IN and OUT). Then the vmix Output should be black.
Now hit record in the NDI Studio Monitor and after that start your vMix Overlay (In and OUT)for your title. Stop record. Now you have a mov file with alpha channel.

Hope it helps.
