Hello

My name is Mike and i am 20 years old and i am fascinating about broadcast and the technique about it. So after a several of years i made my 2nd vMix PC Setup for productions.

I use this Pelicase Mixer for fast productions and for 8 camera broadcasting. Here a list of my setup:


My stuff in the pelicase


-Pelicase 1610
-Asus GL702VS GTX 1070
-Blackmagic Quad 2
-Akitio thunder 3 Pcie box
-Focusrite 6i6
-5Ghz Wifi Router
-PoE 4 Switch
-8 Gigabit switch
-ASL Power Unit
-SSD Reader
-Some Patch connectors

-SONY WH-H900N (Bluetooth)
-Sony EX3
-2x JVC GY-HM750 (with focus and zoom remote) with fujinon 16x lens
-23ft Crane (For at Busy Festivals)
-NDI Birddog with PoE
-Perfect Cue Remote For Presentations
-Etc.

That’s a great setup. Very impressive equipment packed in there. What type of videos do you find yourself producing? Do you focus on specific events?

I do allround Productions Like festivals, marathons, presentations, sports, table shows. Everything that the client asks :)

That must keep you on your toes. Looks like that setup is ready for anything a client could throw at it.

My first vmix was a pc set. But I was very heavy and takes a long time to install.
Now I set it up in 20 minutes.

My setup prior to switching to vMix involved a pallet and 2 PC’s and about 30 pounds of Cables to get the job done. It was insanity, I like the laptop as part of the setup.

The ccu for the jvc is expensiver then the camera. So It looked for me a bit to expensive to buy it for the Jvc. Maybe later I will invest for a Sony xdcam or PDW CCU System.

I dont have CCU control units. Its A bit expensive for me ;)


The ccu controller you showed is not for the JVC gyhm750 you need the expensive one the RM-LP 25U
