I'd like to be able to quickly be able to turn on and off the monitoring for a specific audio source, especially with the introduction of the VST 3 effects. I want to be able to monitor the effect, but ONLY when I'm using an effect, otherwise, I get the "slap-back" feedback effect:

Does the "Solo" button not work? (toggle Shortcut Function: Solo, also available are SoloOff and SoloOn) If you use the Preview as your Shortcut "Input", it will Solo whatever Input is in Preview.

Ice I'm not sure I understand how this will help me. The content will be live, not in preview, that I need to be able to monitor...but I can take this principle and see what I can make work. Thanks for the response!
