Hi, I know in the previous version of VMIX you could choose to not have a certain overlay show up on a recording. It was there when you streamed live. But I am looking at the settings in Vmix 20 and it looks like if you choose not to have an overlay record that choose a\effects the output as a whole... live streaming as well? Can anyone clarify that for me?

AFAIK, the Record/Stream/External 1 Output has always been linked and uses the same Source signal (at least for the past several versions).
Only vMix 4K and vMix Pro give you more options for recording and/or sending a different or "clean" feed.
I hope that helps to clarify.
