nvidia 1060 3gb card with high input performance mode?

Would nvidia 1060 3gb card be okay to use with high input performance mode?
Does it significantly increase performance in anyones experience ?

I also use it vmix to display 2 full screen outputs, one of which goes to the and an external going to a matrox monarch to stream.

Or is this high input performance mode designed more for graphics cards with 6gb mem.
