Hi,

This is Roy from the netherlands, sorry for bad engl.

So i want to broadcast live sport and i have this title that gets information from Excel.
It works great!

The only thing i like is when someone put the new information and score in excel the
title will auomatic show up for a few seconds... is that even possible?

Like when someone scores...
Someone put the name in Excel and save it.
Then i turn on the lower title en the name shows up for 5 seconds.

Thank you for youre tips!

If I understand that correctly roywaarts asked if it is possible to automatically trigger the Lower Third (and fade out after 5 seconds) as soon as the Excel-File has been changed and saved. I'm curious if someone has experience in a workflow like that as this would open up some great possibilities for automated streaming overlays and esports-scoreboards :)

yes it is possible with wpf (or other) and some proper scripting, one could even "convert" it into a NDI overlay (see NDI SDK).
Having it "universal" to please everyone's preferences is a different matter ;-)
