Are there any VMix features that don't work right or at all when running it via Mac's Bootcamp?
What should I stay mindful or aware of in this process of integrating my MAC with VMix?
I'm wanting to know before going down the long road of getting this done and am eager to use VMix as my partner in media is doing back flips around how great this VMix program is.
I have a brand new Macbook Pro 15-inch 2017
STATS: 3.1 Ghz Intel Core i7 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB
I'd so appreciate your help/advice/experience on this! THANK YOU!

With my testing and experience, for best performance you need a mac book pro with an nvidia GPU card. Vmix likes to use the nvidia chip set to process graphics. I have a i7 MBP 16GB Ram with Nvidia running on bootcamp with Win 10 and everything runs like a champ.

Is this an additional card I'd need to get from Mac and have installed into my new Macbook Pro? Or is it an external extension? Forgive my ignorance. I just follow what the tech folks like you say and then get it done. Appreciated!! And thank you for the info!

Choose the Apple Menu, then, About This Mac to see what if your system has a 2nd graphics card. It should have integrated and discrete cards (hopefully).

The second graphics card (GPU) would have been an option when purchasing the Mac Book Pro that can not be added or changed. If it only has the intel iris for processing graphics you will be able to do basic streaming with a few cameras, but anything real complex with overlays, replays, recording and streaming all at the same time may be limited. One great feature of vMix is you can install win 10 on bootcamp and download the vmix demo/trial for 60 days and test out the performace before purchasing. -s
