While experimenting with the audio setup for a forthcoming production I ran into something that perhaps should be a feature request. Before I consider posting one, what are your thoughts?

In this case I was testing two different scenarios with the Behringer UMC 404HD which can be used via both it's proprietary driver (4 separate channels only), or ASIO4All (in different configs, eg 1+2). During the process I tested different settings in the Input's Channel Mixer. The thing is that if I just Change the Input (eg from Behringers driver to ASIO4All), the Inputs Channel Matrix is unchanged. This made me think that perhaps to Channel Matrix should be reset when the Input is Changed. Or, at least the operator should be asked if the Channel Matrix should be reset. Maybe it would be even more useful if the operator was asked "Keep settings, Reset Channel Matrix, or Reset all".

Sidethought, there should perhaps be a "Reset settings" button in the General tab?

(no) bitcoins for your thoughts (just gratitude and love)

I agree... Don't know which solution is the best, but a warning should be done for sure...
