X-keys have a little-known feature called Unit ID. This is a number (0-126) written into the X-keys memory which allows identical X-keys models to communicate with software as unique devices. Stock, off-the-shelf X-keys have a Unit ID of 0. P.I. Engineering offers free software which allows the end user the capability of assigning this number to any X-keys.

If this Unit ID in the X-keys data report could be mapped to the MIDI channel assignment in vMix, multiple X-keys could be used without confusion and without the need to reassign the MIDI channel in vMix.

All three of us vMix users with multiple X-keys would really appreciate this.
