Hi!
I think it is kinda hard to be the video mixer, the replay guy and the guy for the graphics overlays at the same time. The build in graphics generator is not bad, but not very useful and intuitive in stressful situation. It's just too much in sports broadcasts to switch between cameras, make replays and to see what's going on on the pitch and it is even tougher in sports like ice hockey where you have to stop the time.
Graphic overlays is something that should be sourced out and why not use an free to use, open source program like CasparCG? Every user can create specific clients that meet his needs and can let someone else (outside of vMix) do the graphic overlays.
Right now i use chroma key to integrate vmix via SDI Video Input, which is not the best way to do it.
It would be great if vMix could use the the RGB & Alpha outputs (e.g. through 2 SDI outputs- 1 RGB, 1 Alpha Channel)from CasparCG to attach them to each other within the program.
An even better solution would be to make Vmix a choosable output source within CasparCG, like all the Decklink Cards from Blackmagic. This way you could save 2 SDI slot of your videocard.
Kind regards, Patrick

The integrated graphics system is good if you only use a couple of flash graphics, but if you are producing something bigger with more than 20 animated flash graphics (with dynamic text and images) it would get a little messy.
I'd rather use vMix for live swichting, replays, audio control, but an external graphics generatior/server should take care of graphics and videos (commercials, pre taped stuff) for bigger productions.
With this workflow it still easy to stay on top of things.
