Hello, don't know if is that possible just now, but i need to have a particular source (video list in my case) to be routed to an external monitor to act like a "scenografic" prop.

Talent have the "next" content on screen and after the content be transmitted, last frame have to be on screen.

This could be achieved using the "preview" on external monitor, but i also need that screen to remain on last vieo frame also if i switch cameras (so preview is not more usefull).

Can i force a particular source to be Cloned to an external video monitor?

Thanks,

federico

Hi

I think your post should not be in the "feature request" section. What you want is possible, has been dicussed many times already and in no way needs an improvement of vMix.

Check this recent post for example : https://forums.vmix.com/...aspx?g=posts&t=11809
It's pretty close to what you want.

You can also take advantage of vMix recent new features : output 3 & 4.
You then just have to use Newtek's NDI monitor to show any particular input (or several ones) in the screen monitor for your talent.

Hope this helps
Guillaume

Ok, thanks for the reply.

So i can send an arbitrary switcher input as an NDI output.

Do view that stream i can use the UTC (universal title controller) ... So basically i can run it on the secondary monitor of a windows pc and make it full screen ....

Could be usefull, i'll try.

In the meanwhile i haked a vlc istance to remain on last frame, full screen on the secondary screen of a control room PC. Double click on the file and vlc renders on the remote, hdmi connected, lcd tv.

I'll try the UTC thanks.

UTC is not mandatory, same can be done with shortcuts only.
