A colleague has demonstrated the inconsistent nature of the LIST input when the "Auto Next" button is not activated. The LIST input can accept video, audio and jpeg files (jpg) to the list. But when any jpeg file is selected for output, the LIST input goes through all the jpeg files to the end of the list. Not unlike an animation. I investigated this anomaly, and found that on the vMix workstation (Windows 10/8.1) this did not occur, but on the laptop it did on Windows 10. On the second laptop partition with Windows 8.1, no problem. In all instances, "Auto Next" is not selected.

The LIST input is very useful in setting up an orderly manual playlist of items with text descriptions in the file name, whether they are audio clips, video clips and jpeg graphics. Sadly, bitmaps and PNG files also exhibit this problem. But until today, jpeg files always worked well. The small thumbnails in the PHOTOS input are not an option, particularly when many graphics are similar in design, or in a fast paced broadcast environment.

In the example below, you can see the LIST input goes automatically to the last item in the list (21), with no intervention from the User.

Is there a setting that has been missed. Had a look through the various XML files for vMix for a setting, but with no success. Changed permissions to FULL ACCESS to all folders/files related to vMix and the multimedia files, again with no success. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers.
