Has there been any thought about adding modules as an upgrade option (i.e. additional overlay; addition capture)? I'd like to have one more overlay but can not justify spending $250.00 just for that. Thanks!

I am with you on this. vMix should put 4 Overlay Channel to "BASIC HD". $349 "HD" version is too expensive for someone like me that uses vMIx for my school lecture/demo only. I teach multimedia designs and vMix comes in handy when switching demos, add graphics overlay, instructions and notes, multiview, etc... I hope vMix will come up with "EDUCATIONAL" license. :)

As of today i think vMix price is reasonable compared to the likes of VB and WCast.

VMix needs additional overlays. I need about 8 and would definitely pay for a module upgrade for more overlays.

You can combine multiple overlays together using the MultiView feature on an Input So say you have two graphics or "bugs" that would always be displayed together, create a Colour input with transparent background and then set two of the MultiView overlays to these graphics and use it as a single overlay.
