WE CAN MAKE MPEG-TS OVER UDP/TCP POINT TO POINT STREAMING ON THE INTERNET USING VLC AND SOME OTHER SOFTWARES AND HARDWARES, BUT WE CANNOT MAKE IT WITH VMIX THAT ONLY SUPPORTS STREAMING THROUGH CDN. WE CANNOT DO WMP STREAMING DUE TO LOW QUALITY AND NDI WITH LOW INTERNET BANDWITH. CURRENTLY WE ARE USING VMIX AND HAVE TO ADD A SECOND HARDWARE, TERADEK SLICE HARDWARE TO STREAM MPEG-TS OVER UDP/TCP TO A DESTINATION VIA INTERNET. PLEASE CORRECT MY ENGLISH.

I HOPE MY NEXT PROJECT DOES NOT NEED A SECOND HARDWARE THAT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY. LET VMIX DO IT ALONE.

you can do it using virtual output/external and open this output in vlc or ffmpeg to send using MPEG-TS, when you start the external on vmix you can uses this output as any directshow device, in vlc ffmpeg skype webrtc ....

WE ALREADY DID THIS METHOD WITH DIFFERENT COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS BUT NEVER GET GOOD RESULT OF THE STREAMING OUTPUT, SO WE DECIDED TO USE EXTERNAL HARDWARE ENCODER AFTER VMIX EXTERNAL OUTPUT (DECKLINK SDI). WE STILL PREFER STREAMING MPEG-TS OUT OF VMIX THAN OF OTHER APLICATIONS RUNNING BACKGROUND IN THE SAME PC.

Hi

if you had searched the forum before posting you might have found out that:
- similar feature request has been made long time ago. Always better to concentrate on 1 feature request rather than multiplying them,
- many excellent encoding parameters for muticast with FFMPEG/VLC have already been shared by users

Guillaume
