I would like to setup vmix to switch inputs at preset times say 9 pm, 10 pm is this possible? and if so whats the commands to use ?

I suppose you could set up a "Playlist" to approximate that if you start it on time, but it's not designed to switch at a specific time of day, just after a predetermined run-time.
The new vTask app might be better suited for actual scheduled switches. Or even the original vMixScheduler if you can still download it.

You could use a web api command with a scheduler.

You can do it very easily with vMix UTC.

Thanks, this looks like it has potential BUT i'm only seeing it able to bring a preview active, what if I have say 5 videos each on an input # 5-10 how do i get it to send that live without it being loaded into the preview window 1st?

UTC uses all API commands available in vMix.
Just use the transition effect you wish along with the correct input.

If your inputs don't show in the list, just use the Update State button to refresh.
