Hi
We are producing a show with 2 presenters, each with lav mics, and also a number of other inputs (inside vmix) that include audio.
Recording the mics to vmix works fine, but if I want to bring in another input - eg. some soundbed audio, I'm not sure how to play it in a way that the presenters can hear it, but so that it doesn't get into a recording loop.
I'm using a Yamaha mg10xu soundcard/mixer as the audio interface. The mics are on the mixer's 1 & 2 inputs. vMix's output comes in to channels 9&10 via USB. So basically, if I raise the volume on channel 9&10 of the mixer so that people in the room can hear it, it feeds back into vmix and causes a loop.
Anyone have an ideas on this?
